Apologia Press has come out with a new line of Christian worldview curriculum. The What We Believe curriculum series of four books: 1) Who Is God? 2) Who Am I? 3) Who Is My Brother? and 4) What on Earth Can I Do?. TOS Crew members received the first book in the series to review. As a HOD family we were so psyched to get this book since B-Rad will be needing it for school in a few short years.
Who Is God? And Can I Really Know Him?, by John Hay and David Webb,is part of Apologia’s ministry to help parents like you and me equip our children to discern and stand up for truth.
From the website:
Who is God and Can I Really Know Him?, introduces the concept of worldview while laying the foundational truths upon which the evangelical Christian worldview is built: God is truth and He reveals His truth to people; He is the one true and almighty God; He is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; He created everything; we are God’s children and are made to love and to praise Him; God meets all our needs; sin keeps us from God; and Jesus is the only way to God.
What we loved:
- Simple, easy to follow layout
- As always Apologia’s online extras are wonderful
- Engaging photos and sound application to real life.
- Appropriate for the whole family
- Notebooking aspect to create a history of your study
- At first, it took a little while to get used to the fact not every chapter is laid out the same
- Can I say Nothing? Honestly it is just that great for us.

My boys and I can’t wait to get the journal and move full speed ahead with this. I had found that there was a verse for each of my boys’ abilities and the notebooking ideas are really bringing it to life. This is a little of the work we did. C-man’s is on the left and B-rad’s is on the right.

Loved it too!
Great post! I didn't think to photograph what the kids had done and post that. We couldn't find much for cons either. It is an awesome book and I think I'll be getting the rest of the series.
