SYNOPSIS
Through mysterious footage captured on an old malfunctioning video camera, Sinclair High School's star quarterback, Tyler McFarland, learns that some of his teammates have been bullying Cory Walker, a troubled new transfer student. Aware that sharing this information with the coach might get his friends kicked off the team and ultimately cost the school the state championship, Tyler must choose what's more important: winning or doing what's right.
As these events unfold, the camera also reveals more surprising footage to Tyler's kid sister Lucy. She learns that Cory has a secret past, unknown even to him. Now Lucy must convince her mom (Faith Ford, Murphy Brown) and family that the camera's revealing insight is not a product of her imagination as she enlists their help to find the answers Cory so desperately needs. It's a compelling and intriguing story that shows both the challenges and rewards of doing the right thing even when it's tough to do.
My Thoughts:
This is a wonderful heartwarming movie about the struggle to do the right thing. I did expect it to be centered on the character who is the popular kid and must make this tough decision but after viewing it was pleasantly surprised to see there was no single main character as each is focused on as the movie progresses. I watched it with my boys and we all enjoyed it immensely.
We do not have cable and usually watch Netflix but I am wonderfully thankful that P&G and Wal-Mart have partnered to bring Family Movie Nights to households all across the United States. Wholesome movies with good family values are needed more than ever. This endeavor brings back memories of what watching TV with the family was like when I was a child.

Hi there and thanks for stopping by my blog to post a comment. You mentioned you weren't decided yet on continuing through the summer or just picking up in the fall with your new curriculum. We are just finishing up our Saxon math and the kids do daily reading. Other than that, it is going to be very relaxed around here! I need a break from planning and the kids really enjoy their time off to just explore and have fun! Thanks again!
